Vaccine Update & Details
Hello Ice Breakers,
We have received a lot of emails regarding the OMHA Vaccine Policy and have also received further information and policy details from the Town of Innisfil. Please read this email in it's entirety as it will answer most questions.
The OMHA Vaccine Policy and details were previously emailed out to every member. The main point of the policy is that any player eligable to received the vaccine currently (age 12 as of 2021 & up) must be fully vaccinated by October 31, 2021.
We just received the Town of Innisfil Return to Play Protocol and they have outlined that as of September 22, 2021 they will be enforcing proof of vaccines (age 12 as of 2021 & up) to be shown to enter ANY Town of Innisfil recreation facility. This would obviously affect our players before the OMHA Vaccine Policy would take effect.
If your player is registered but will not be vaccinated this season, we require immediate notification of their withdrawal from this season. We have submitted the jersey order and have put in work to have players rostered. We have a small window to reverse this now without having to bill you for these fees. If you choose to wait until the start of the season, you will be charged the full $200.00 Administration Fee as outlined in our LMHA Policies Manual which can be found on our website (About Us > Constitution & Policies > LMHA Policies)
Please submit withdrawals via replying to THIS email BY SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2021 at 9PM.
Please also note that the vaccine policies in place are outside of the control of LMHA but will be abided by in order to continue providing hockey experiences to our members. While we understand this can be a sensitive subject, we ask that you please treat our staff and members with respect.
Thank you for your understanding.
