The Bantam 2 team participated this past weekend in Welland, Ontario in the Ernie Clayton Annual Hockey Tournament.  Game one was against the Niagara areas best team Pelham #3 which had only lost one game all season.  The Icebreakers skated away with a 4-2 victory and had the arena lobby asking who was this team.  Games two and three were a win and a loss and some questionable officiating.  The team finished with the 2nd ranking out of 10 teams and advanced to the Sunday Semi Finals to face the same "Best Team Around" Pelham #3.  Bantam 2 knocked them out of the tournament with a very convincing 5-0 victory and set the table for a Final game Sunday afternoon vs Welland #3.   Read More

Congratulations Major Midget Team #3 on a very successful and memorable silver stick championship win.  Game one was against Thornton with us winning, score was 5-1.  Second game was against Ennismore with us winning with a score of 9-0.  The final game of the round robin was against Brock with us winning 7-0.  The semi final game was against Mooretown and we won that with a score of 4-1.  We then went onto the championship game against Havelock which was a great game.  We won that game with a score of 4-2.Even when we are down players and a goalie in the semi final and championship game, we still came out winners because the boys played like a team and the coaching staff enjoyed coaching them.
